People Who Do These 4 Things When They're Short On Cash Usually Attract More Luck With Money
Kues / ShutterstockWhen money feels tight, even one unpaid bill can keep someone up at night, staring at the ceiling and wondering where they'll get the money to pay it. That's why it's important to have an abundance mindset and to make sure your home is a space that welcomes good fortune.
However, in feng shui, even those moments can be an opportunity to shift the energy around you and make room for something better to come along, especially in your home. Rearranging your living room won't magically make money appear, but certain housekeeping habits can invite energy in that allows movement and abundance, often bringing wealth with it.
When people are short on funds, they usually do these 4 things to help them attract more luck with money:
1. Clean the toilets

If you're in need of some money, cleaning your bathroom probably isn't at the top of your to-do list. In feng shui, though, bathrooms are associated with energy leaving the home. Having a dirty or neglected toilet can symbolically reinforce the feeling of money constantly slipping away.
There's also something satisfying about taking care of the little things when your finances are stressful. A spotless bathroom makes the home feel more orderly, which can help you feel less like everything is spiraling out of control. You might not find a pile of cash lying around, but you'll be able to approach your finances with a clearer head in a clean environment.
2. Organize the fridge
The refrigerator is known for nourishment and resources in feng shui. Keeping it clean and organized can help create a stronger sense of having enough, rather than always feeling like you're running out of something.
From a practical standpoint, it's also easier to see what you already have before spending more money. You might discover forgotten ingredients or some leftovers hiding in the back. Suddenly, your fridge is helping you stretch meals longer and stop wasting money.
3. Place fresh flowers at the entrance of the home

If you're trying to attract a little more luck with money, feng shui suggests paying closer attention to your home's entrance. This is considered a highly important place for energy to flow through, so keeping it bright and alive with fresh flowers or other plants helps maintain a sense of movement and possibility.
You don't need anything expensive or fancy, either. A few inexpensive grocery store flowers or ones you picked from outside can make any entryway feel more inviting. The point is less about how much you spend and more about creating a space that's cared for.
4. Tidy the closet
Cleaning out a closet can be surprisingly useful when you're short on cash. Clutter is associated with stagnant energy in feng shui, and a wardrobe packed with things you never wear makes it much harder for new opportunities to enter your life. Getting rid of what no longer fits makes some extra breathing room. You can even sell some items to make back some of your money.
It can also change your relationship with spending, at least on clothing. Once you can actually see what you own, you may find some clothes, shoes, or accessories you forgot about but still love. It becomes easier to resist the temptation to buy new things just because you're bored with your options. Your wallet gets a much-needed break!
